I don't own a Wii, but since THQ started to work with Worms, the games just arent that fun as they were... Worms' second generation was the best ever...

WormsXBLA was made solely by Team17.

I wouldn't say that.

The games aren't as good as the old ones, though.

And Wow 2 DS was good.

i think you should play worms: director's cut before you say that. you might still like wa better, but in my experience, everyone who played w: dc liked it even more.

Indeed. WormsDC is the definitive first-generation Worms game, much as WA is the definitive second-gen game, and WOW2 is the definitive third-generation game.

2D generations, obviously.

i am very glad that we at least agree on our opinions of worms: dc. lately, it seems that it is the only thing we can agree on.

liking a game and still playing it after 10 years are two entirely different categories. i liked w4m, but i'm done with it. in contrast, i still play w:a and w: dc occasionally, and i'm sure i'll keep playing them in another decade.

I seem to recall that K^2 once stated an intention to reverse-engineer WormsDC and port it to Windows. As with many of his projects, though, he didn't seem interested enough to follow through.
