I don`t know if this had already been discussed but their are two levels that you can beat without going through the normal path. 1. The Far Side 2. Mind the steps. It`s possible to build stairs to walk over the steels. Then you will be right close to the exit. Am I late?

There are a couple of levels in the original Amiga version of Lemmings which have non-standard solutions, too. This is particularly true in Oh No! More Lemmings! where making your lemmings drop off the bottom of the screen at a certain point counts as a victory. Just chalk it up to One O' Dem Things and move on, I suppose.

I haven`t played the SNES ones in ages. I wonder if this glitch works in the original game.
