I have seen many mentions to a FREE Space Theme (Background) for Worms arcade. Yet, I do not see a listing for this on the Marketplace, just the three buyable themes (background), gamer pics, themes, and two sound banks. Was the Space Theme removed from the marketplace? Am I just missing where it is?

That's odd. It's not on the marketplace anymore and it's no longer in my download history, so I can't transfer it to another account. I still have it installed and it still works.

Apparently it was removed. I noticed this now as well. I'm pretty sure I had it downloaded before, but I recently deleted a bunch of content from my hard drive and when I went to re-download it, it wasn't there. Not even in the history.

I have seen this happen before with 2 downloadable packs for Saints Row. They removed them without warning. I e-mailed and complained about it, and now they've been put back up. I'm going to e-mail them again about this. I don't mind them taking down themes and gamer pictures, but downloadable content? It really isn't the way to do it.

Does anyone from Team17 know anything about this?

I still have it on my Xbox 360 hard drive myself, but don't understand why this was removed.

I'm curious to know why too.

Ya I would really like this theme too but it isn't there.

I'm seriously upset about this. I deleted and redownloaded Worms and all the content because of the new fix to Microsoft's DRM issues (this now allows me to play Worms on my refurb box without logging in). Now I'm missing my Space Theme.

A month has passed since this thread was posted and still no answer from a Team17 member nor has the theme been re-uploaded to Xbox Live.

This is quite disappointing to say the least...

Indeed this is why downloadable content will NEVER replace physical media for me. Because its too easy for them to take that content down so you cannot redownload it if your console/hard drive breaks, or you had to temporarily delete it to free up space.

What is to stop them (them meaning any download service such as Xbox Live Marketplace, Steam, iTunes, etc) doing this for PAID content? Sure they might get a class action lawsuit if they did it with paid content, but that wouldn't necessarily fix the problem.

Retro gaming would never have existed if we had a download-only service because no doubt they will either stop supporting older stuff entirely, or expect you to pay again for the same thing on newer hardware. Anyway I will stop now as this is getting off-topic.

The Space theme is now available again on Xbox Live Marketplace. Sorry for the delay on this but these things sometimes take time :)

Awesome, thanks Pickles. Now I just have to take my 360 somewhere with internet access to download this theme. :)

Thanks, but it would have been nice if someone of the Team17 staff said that they were aware of the issue and that they were working with Microsoft's Xbox Live team to fix it.

To me (and everyone else in this thread) believed that no one of the Team17 staff even knew about it OR that they were ignoring the fact that we have made a note about it on this forum.

Like I said these things actually do take time - there is a veritable myriad of hoops to jump through (even for something as trivial as this).

In regards to letting you guys know - alas if I spent my days posting to confirm knowledge of every issue then we wouldn't have much time for anything else now would we. There is beer to be drunk and er indeed games to be made...

Speaking of which - I was in the middle of something. Enjoy the returned space theme.

I'm happy it's back but any idea why or how the Space theme was removed?
