Hi all,
By far my worst weapon is the Ninja Rope. However other people use it really well so I was wondering if anyone had any tips about how to use it most effectively.
I already enjoy dragging barrels etc toward enemies, my main problem is with using it for navigation. I have seen some people shooting sequential ninja ropes in the same turn and swinging from point-to-point, and others being able to get over the top of steep cliff edges by swinging. However, I have managed neither of these.
What are your "top tips" for maximising the navigation potential of the ninja rope?

The underside of the BigRig level is best for practicing roping in W4.

Also, I didn't really like that 'drag mines and barrels' feature because it's all too often overabused. It's only fun with a player with good sportsmanship (same goes for The Kitchen Sink)
Oh, and I really hate people that remove the shotgun and baseball bat from their schemes because it allows them to knock worms into water at the start of the match before they have a chance to get away, but make it a common tactic to similarly explot the mines and barrels. Cyclaws was one of them.

Thanks!

Agree with you about Kitchen Sink, it's not fun. Even if you do play someone with "good sportsmanship", how are you suppsoed to agree "OK, we don't use any big weapons, OK?" That doesn't feel like a game IMO.

Drag mines and barrels I think is fine because you can move away from the obstacles. I must admit if there's a worm on ~15 heatlh who I want to kill without using my turn, I'll just rope a mine in and then run on to do someone else. I don't think that's bad sportsmanship, just taking advantage of the things that are available.

You're dead on about people who remove shotguns and baseball bats, though - it's part of the game. Someone I played with online a while back had moddd the standard scheme to include infinite baseball bats and jetpacks, though, which I thought was really annoying.

Thanks for your advice:)

It's only fun when the objective isn't "kill off the enemies", but when it's "kill off the enemies, with style!"
