I can access the Internet and chat to others with Worms 2, it all works fine. But when I join a game, it says 'Now searching for a Worms2 game' but nothing happens apart from a window popping up.

I don't think Vista or E: Drive shouldn't be the problem, but can anyone help me plz?

If you have a router, configure it correctly:
http://spadger.uk.ro, http://liksi.com/prob.htm, and http://computerhead.biz/forum/index.php

and make sure to join people who have also port forwarded if they have a router.

that modem be caused for this slowly become the disk space (C:) within the error and you play in the internet (wormnet) you please wait by the lan port search a game for you :)
