i recently installed worms world party, and have play a couple of times, but now every time i come on to play the colour messes up

Close other programs that run, Windows Live Messenger and ObjectDock are programs that have been known to do this.

Basically, WWP runs on a 256 colour palette, and certain other programs, particularly ones with the "always on top" feature have been known to steal parts of the palette, leaving WWP with not enough colours.

Even better solution, get Worms Armageddon. This problem has been fixed in the updates.

No it hasn't been fixed, but it doesn't happen for as quite as many reasons.
