I don't really know paint that well, but I'm pretty sure that's your problem.
Get something like GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) that can resize a picture smoothly.

If you're looking for a much smaller image manipulation program, then Irfan View is the way forward. You can't draw using it, but you can do just about any conversion, resize, etc. in pretty much every format (though if you draw in Paint, I'd advise you get GIMP). Irfan View can even play .OGG music files too. It's awesome.

Well, TeddyWorm is pretty good. Certainly a damn sight better than when I started (and a damn sight better than I am now, come to think of it). Your expressions are nice and cartoony, and although all your pictures are simple, you've got the shading right in the pictures that actually have it (OK, so the shading isn't perfect, but at least you haven't got it hopelessly wrong like some people do).

An advice: resize everything you draw in a manner that the whole picture fits in one screen of the standart resolution (which still is 1024x768). If you feel like the image is too detailed, then you can post aditional close ups on the interest things.

Indeed, they are a bit on the large side, but otherwise they are fantastic. Wonderful expressions, and the hands are great too. Sorry if it seems like I keep pointing out some odd parts, but a lot of people get those bits wrong, myself included.

As for DA, go to your profile page when logged in and click on "Submit Deviation" on the right hand side of the screen. Putting no category on an image makes it a scrap which doesn't appear in your main gallery, incase you ever wondered.

For an actual insight as to the whole Plasma-Kelster thing (you knew it was coming), she came on the foum 8 months before we went out. Which was just after my 15th birthday. After her losing her internet connection for a good while, and getting to know her more over MSN, it finally dawned on me that this person is actually one kick-ass girl! (actually, it took a while before it dawned on me that she was a girl too, as she didn't notice people calling her by 'him'.) And instead of asking her out, I changed my public signature to say 'I love Kelster23'. Yes, that could've been embarassing if she didn't love me, but by that time the community had known me long enough to have enough fuel to make a full-length movie about Homer Simpson using me as a basis, so I couldn't care less.
The good news is that it turned out that she loved me too! The bad news is that I was in the start-middle of doing my Junior Cert, the 2nd of the three important set of exams in pre-university education. The other bad news was that she tried to express her feelings in *blush* emoticons without actually saying she loved me too, which left me in a 'does she love me or not' state of mind for a week. IIRC, the worst that happened in one exam was blanking off for half of my English exam, which subsequently led to me getting one-hour-a-week English grinds for the next two years... It was worth it! :D
So yeah, that was in June 2006, we've been going out for 20 months, and neither of us has ever been in a relationship with anyone else, and I have to save up another €1,500 so I can go take a holiday with her this summer.
And if all this has thought me anything, it's that studying really isn't all it's cracked up to be!


So yeah, back on track with the arts: less sweat and head-digging would be nice. And also more awesome!
