Incorrect

I googled the one I made up after and it has been used before (:() but none of the first page results were wikipedia so I figured it was ok

bloopy
6 Dec 2007, 02:02
Hmmm, Wikitivities then? It's hard to imagine there's much in the way of interesting activities to do on a Wiki, apart from the usual editing. :p

Wikiality?

nah, i know that exists because it's a colbert word

it's wikiqutte - matt you have to work on making these less obvious, because that one doesn't even make sense (etiquette is spelled with an e after the u and it's hard to pronounce besides)

Whoops I spelt it wrong putting it down but it's real

Should I count that as one for PB or do you guys want to bore yourself out guessing which one I actually made

bloopy
6 Dec 2007, 22:04
Yeah, give it to PB... you suck at making things up, except by spelling things wrong, but then even "Wikiqutte" returns results on Google. :p

I haven't got any more of those for you, so:

How many kilometres have I driven since I got my provisional/restricted driving licence in mid-February this year? You are permitted a margin of error of ±5%

Alien King
10 Dec 2007, 22:19
I got lucky. What was the actual value?

Last week I wrote a badly coded program to calculate Pi using a particular sequence.
After approximatly 550 Million iterations, how many decimal places had it accuratly calculated Pi to?

bloopy
11 Dec 2007, 19:36
10000 ?

Alien King
11 Dec 2007, 19:49
A long way off.

Pigbuster
11 Dec 2007, 19:57
550 million.

Alien King
11 Dec 2007, 20:01
Even worse.

You're being far too generous.

Pigbuster
11 Dec 2007, 20:03
One hundred.

Alien King
11 Dec 2007, 20:04
By far, the closest guess, but still a good distance off.

Hint: It's small enough to be able to guess the exact answer. :D

Pigbuster
11 Dec 2007, 20:21
Seventeen.

Alien King
11 Dec 2007, 20:56
Even closer. Still off though.

SupSuper
11 Dec 2007, 21:02
Five .

Splapp
11 Dec 2007, 21:06
None. lololo.

Alien King
11 Dec 2007, 21:21
Supsuper is the closest. In fact, if nobody guesses correctly soon I'll declare him the winner.

And Splapp has gone the wrong way :p.

Pigbuster
11 Dec 2007, 21:27
Seven .

Alien King
11 Dec 2007, 22:08

eight .

Alien King
11 Dec 2007, 22:23
Futureworm wins.

Indeed: after 550 million iterations of this sequence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leibniz_formula_for_pi), only 8 decimal places of Pi had been accuratly calculated.

FutureWorm
11 Dec 2007, 22:32

Yay!

How many attachments do I have uploaded on this forum as of now, and/or how many MB do they take?
I'll give you a margin of error of +/- 20 for the ammount of attachments, and +/- .5 MB for the space they take.
If you guess either correctly you win, if you guess both correctly, you WIN!

Akuryou13
12 Dec 2007, 07:14
100 attachments at 50MB :p

MtlAngelus
12 Dec 2007, 09:42

I'd guess 80 attachments totalling 6Mb

SupSuper

400 at 7mb.

MtlAngelus
12 Dec 2007, 19:33
