I made this small tools using VB...

It can open and edit *.img file by calling landgen.exe, but I don't know how to encode the compressed format, anybody who knows?

Before I download it, can/will it be able to export the *.IMG foles to something like *.PNG format?

Yes, you can open compressed *.img files and save it to *.bmp file. I don't know how to save to *.png files! But if you want to open compressed file, first you must have installed WWP, and put this editor to your WWP path.

I don't know how to compress IMG file, so if you save a file, the file will be uncompressed.

I'm sorry, but the files above have some bugs. First, a file named dib1.dll is missing. Then the mission edior has some bugs.

Well, I just forgot that I'm using the harddisk version of WWP. If you're using CD-ROM version, you can view them only. Otherwise, there are two possible ways to solve this problem. The first way is to use a virtual CD-ROM, copy the file, and edit mission in \data\mission\missionX.wam. But I don't know whether the patch can run under virtual CD-ROM. The second way is harddisk version, but not patched.

Recently I had discovered the compress and decompress algorithm of *.img file by decompile landgen.exe using IDA+HexRays Decompiler. New version of edit tools is coming soon.
