Like you I've been trying to play it for ages. Yesterday I did it, but I don't know quite how.

I've got the Sold Out Worms 2 & Armageddon double pack, neither of which worked on my Vista machine.

I Contacted Team 17 and they said, Worms 2 would never work but Armageddon should do. Other than that they were useless.

So I reinstalled WA, including the patches and Direct X 6.0. It still didin't work, so I uninstalled WA, but forgot to remove the patch or Direct X 6.0

Then I decided to try and do Worms 2 again. This time It worked with no difficulty and I've been leaving little worm bodies all over the place.

No Idea if it's luck, or if it'll crash later, but It working right now. Hope it Helps, and if anyone can tell me how to get WA working, I'd be much obliged.
