does anyone know what the best way to increase there true skill which wepons work best or is it the amount of kills

I doubt the weapons you use matter. The true skill formula is complex but basically it will only go up if you win the majority of games you play and if you lose even once against an opponent with a much lower True Skill score than you, it will take at least 30+ games in a row to get back to where you were.
