Hey , your from Varna. Are you Bulgarian?Anyway there is no way to create a map , but you can use W3D map editor , which also works for 4.It`s awesome.

Nope, if you create a map for W3, you'll get a .xom file. Just change the extension to .xan, go in the data\Maps folder of W4M, find a multiplayer map that already exists ("Multi_TinCanWally.xan" for example), make a copy of it, rename your own map to "Multi_TinCanWally.xan", and place it in your maps folder. The default Tin Can Wally map will be replaced by your map.

So you can't use your custom maps online.

So, would it also work to import a map from Worms 3D to Worms 4 Mayhem????

you can use the K^2 map editor to port maps from 3d to mayhem
i used it to allow me to use "nobody rides for free" in w4m.

You don't need anything to port Worms 3D maps to Worms 4 Mayhem. Just get the file, change it extension from .xom to .xan, and you are done.

If u dont like to replace the existence maps in worms4(for example: Multi_tincanwally.xan)u can just add maps to ur w4m map list ingame...but u must create a databank(u can copy a exist and change name) and a hmd file(the same as databank)....and finally go to scripts.xml, add ur map,and u will have ur map added to ur maplist ;).If u like u can make a .tga file to be ur map image, placing it in "data\Frontend\Levels",or just use one of the existent tga.
It may sound difficult but it is too easy,i made a program to do that ,if i have time i will finish and upload it for the worms 4 community.

yeah. that editor only saves terrain data, which doesn't include things specific to w3d or w4, allowing maps saved from the editor to run with either game.

I managed to replace an existing map with a custom map I made. But I still don't quite understand how to add maps to the list. How do I create a databank and hmd file and where do I put them? This really does sound quite complicated but I'm sure it can't be too difficult. Can anyone help? I really would like to add some more maps to my Worms 4.

Thanks.
