you have a firewall in your new router
go online and search "port forwarding"

also, wait for other people to give more details, such as the port to forward (i forgot)
:p

i looked at the site , still didn't get where the 17012 should be placed.
another thing isn't this port forwarding for "host"ing games ? i have trouble "enter"ing to wormnet!
why the game can't detect my ip , and give me the "login" link ! (funny thing is i work with my dial up)
thanks anyway
(getting me angry!!)

it works with dial-up because dial-up modems don't have built in firewalls
dsl modems do

the reason: with dial-up, it's pretty much impossible to download a virus due to the slow speed, not to mention the internet isn't on all the time
with dsl, getting a virus is pretty easy, especially since the internet is now on all the time, so a firewall to block viruses is a must

edit: you need to put the ports in two of the lines
one line goes like this: 17012 17012 TCP 17012 17012
the other line: 17012 17012 UDP 17012 17012

i did that ,
but till didn't work but i've got the feeling i'm so close to the problem!
shoudln't i change something in router firewall menu ? it has incoming ip and outgoing ips . should i ?
thanks for taking time!!!
(my router ip is 192.168.1.1, and the static ip my isp has given to me is 89.221.82.236 , which one i should put in wormnet configuration ip field?

and on the top of the fields "17012 17012 tcp 17012 17012" i have ip address field in router configuration , which on ei should put in this field?)
