Hi all,

I've just set up my new system and I'm experiencing (very) slow menus in WWP.
Searching this forum, I get some posts with the same problems. There is always the suggestion to use Omegadrivers for the 6x00 Series Nvidia Graphiccards.

Since I'm using a 8800GTS and the latest Omega release is from 2005, I won't use them ;)

Are there any other suggestions or am I stuck to those slow menus?

System:
Windows XP Prof SP2 fully patched
Core 2 Duo E6550
2GB RAM
8800GTs with latest Forceware
Audigy 2 ZS with latest drivers

i have slow menus too !

I also have that problem. It's due to the fact we all have GeForce video cards. The newer drivers are causing this problem. I've also been searching for a solution, I tried the Omega drivers with no success.


So, any other ideas for us?

use drivers older then version 69.xx (i think) but that isnt a good suggestion if you A) have a video card not supported by the drivers and B) if you play new games.

can always just live with the slow menu's - i get the same problem (again with a GeForce card) but its not too bad...

It's a shame... But I will certainly not go back to some ancient drivers.

Good thing about this all: I started with worms armageddon for the first time since wwp was published. Good ol' days ;)
