Alright, well I'm cleaning my room and I have a pile of old assorted computer components I've collected, as well as 3 whole computers, all of which I am going to take to a recycling center tomorrow. But first I thought I'd stop by here and ask any of you if you might want something - I'm willing to sell anything to anyone for free plus shipping.

My inventory:
- MicroATX PSU, 100W, still functional
- 1992 Compaq video card, pre-PCI (I think ISO?) speed or other capabilities unknown.
- I think a LAN card - same interface as video card (ISO?) has Ethernet port as well as a coaxial port.
- 4 3.5" hard drives, 6GB, 8GB (I think), 1.2GB, and 1.6GB (I think)
- 5.25" :D hard drive, 1.2GB
- 5.25" floppy drive
- 2 CD-ROM drives
- 2 3.5" floppy drives
- other CPUs and motherboards and RAM which is probably all entirely outdated so I don't even want to bother looking at it...

I live near LA, California, so it would probably cost more to mail anything than it would be worth, but I just thought I'd mention. If you're interested in anything, speak up before around 16:00 and 20:00 GMT tomorrow, the 13th, (8:00 and 12:00 my time) or else it all goes to the recycling center.

SomePerson: I'll pass that list on to my Dad, see if he needs anything. Right now, my computer is pretty set, component-wise.

Boy, that's... ancient. I would've bought the PSU and the 5.25" floppy drive (still got some of those floppies lying around), but shipping would cost way more than any of that is worth.

Yeah, I guessed that would pretty much be the issue.

It's all gone now. I was actually fairly impressed with the recycling center. On the phone they said something about only being able to deposit 5 items per year, but when I get there the guy just points to one of those wooden forklift pallettes and says to just put everything on that. Entirely informal, nobody counting how many things we put there, and nobody kept track of who we were. I don't understand who the person on the phone thought they were...

I took some pictures of some of the items, just because they amused me in their old-ness. The LAN card, video card, and 5.25" hard drive, respectively, because these three I found particularly amusingly old.::rolleyes:
