I've allowed multiple choices but have kept votes private. Please don't vote for everyone and then vote "Nobody" as that's not very nice (Alien King has also been added to this poll, but I've probably changed my mind). The poll will close monday evening.


Also, please state in this thread how many people you'd like to be let into OD. The most popular number will be the number that are let in (obviously those with the most number of votes). For the record, I think no more than 4 should be allowed in.

All 5+n of them, where n is the number of KRD's mysterious friends.

(Except Nobody, he's a jerk :p)

The rest are pretty decent choices in my opinion.

I still say Akuryou should have been let in a long time ago.

I'm abstaining: I don't have an opinion about some of these people, but if I vote in the poll I have to vote for or against each of them.

I haven't paid any attention to Alien King in a good long while, but I never did approve of him.

Though I'm willing to accept that perhaps he's matured somewhat in the interim. Maybe.

I only voted for Akuryou and KRD's mysterious friends, I trust KRD to know that they are cool people.

I did look at the numbers and did notice that someone DID vote for both Akuryou and nobody, as Aku had 100% at the time and nobody had a vote...:p

Oh, I'd say my mysterious friends can wait for now. There's plenty choice already and I'm with Thomas as far as the number goes anyway. One or two right after the leak mess is sorted and perhaps a few more later on, nothing that would make it look like the leak is being treated by giving out invitations.

I'll just vote for the one person I do know well and like on the list, then. :o

Well, it seems that 4 people have quite a strong lead over the rest, so I'll put forward the following names tomorrow to be added to OD:

Four, eh? Looks to me like most of the people who stated a quantity of new people they'd prefer said they want all of the names. Also, more than half the voters voted for Alien King to be let in.

If it wasn't for Ian Dowe, I wouldn't have got in when I did. Nobody else thought to suggest me, at the time.

But ultimately, it's not my say - volcadmin may only be happy letting 4 in, or two for that matter. In which case, the top n will be the ones who are let in.

So now that we (hopefully) aren't being spied on by untrustworthy members: Should we reveal OD sometime in the near future?

My opinion is that we need to be inviting more members and make this forum more open to the community - just keep the spammers out. If we're to do that and not reveal OD, we may find ourselves in this situation again, which is why I think we need to reveal OD but tell people that they'll only get in if they are good posters.

I say we just keep quiet for a while and see what happens. I think we'll kill our community if we keep talking about the leaks.

I, personally, really think the whole leak situation has more or less subsided and we don't need to talk much more about revealing OD. :p

I'm with SomePerson and Zero72 - keep it quiet for now.

I must admit, there were some people who got in back in the 300 post days who really I wasn't particularly fond of, but it all worked out. I think actually all of them have left by now, but that's not the point. They didn't harm the community or anything and it wasn't really a problem, so I'm willing to be slightly liberal in whom I vote in. To a degree.

We only let in the 5 most popular from the poll because virtually everybody voted for them.

Actually, the truth the mods don't want us to realize is that no one was invited in but... OD HAS BEEN MADE PUBLIC.
And people have just been avoiding posting in to trick us into thinking it's still hidden! :eek::eek::eek:
