No, it doesn't.

But you may have the luck to run it on Windows Vista, first try if it runs.

Search in some threads and you'll find one way to run it on Vista.

No, but there is another thread which tells you how to tweak it to make it work, which I used and I an now play Mayhem on Vista.

Yes, the most people who run Worms 4 on Vista have Ultimate edition. Maybe Ultimate edition has better support for uncompatible games with this windows.

Not necessarily, I have Home version & it runs fine there. Though I did turn off the darn UAC first thing when I got Vista, also what graphics card do you have, apparently Nvidia cards have a lot of problems with this & other games under Vista, the newest drivers seem to fix a lot of issues though so I hear, Ihave an ATI X1600.

It doesn't.

It makes no difference.

lol

it makes an incredible difference actually!

because home premium has extra graphic software and programs, it has a better reputation for doing well with games and some times un-supported software if tweaked in small areas.

Wrong.

because home premium has extra graphic software and programs,

It has a fancier user interface and a few extra features, neither of which have to do the Vista's ability to run games.

it has a better reputation for doing well with games and some times un-supported software if tweaked in small areas.

Wrong.

Every single version of Vista is the has the same core programming. They just add a few extra things like Media Centre and Ultimate Extra's. The compatibility with games and hardware is exactly the same in each edition.

Oops, Home Premium, sorry about that. Too many versions of one OS, curse you M$

I have Windows Vista Home Premium, using an Nvidia GeForce 7000 series graphics card with the default drivers, and the game runs fine for me.

How much strange...

Some people install Worms 4 in Windows Vista and in some people it works but on some others it doesn't.

Maybe the hardware in Vista is the problem, not the OS.

What is your graphics card model?

If you don't know here's a good tip : go to "Run", then type "dxdiag" (DirectX Diagnostic Tool) and press OK. Then go to tab "Display". Then you can see what is your GPU and some details (like video RAM).

Well there's always [TryGames (http://www.trygames.com/game/aff=trygames/vid=16e68e0f5250830ef6ec84a344900ae1)].

But no, I didn't download it. I didn't buy it, either - Codemasters sent me a review copy. It's identical to a retail copy, however.

Same here -- install screen had the error "o.s. not supported", but after exiting, vista prompted asking did this program run correctly, or should it rerun in compatiblity mode. When re-run in compatibility mode, it installed fine!

Broken installer, but vista works around it anyway.

Y'know, if people aren't going to listen to me when I say "W4M works fine in Vista Home Premium so long as you update your graphics card, soudncard and StarForce drivers" then I'm just going to stop posting in these threads.

Really.
