Ive heard various reports of this happening, but wasnt sure whether or not to believe it, but this guy is cheating his way to the number 1 spot!! Basically I was in a game with him and his last 2 worms had 5 hp and 10 hp, he was basically about to get taken out as i was ready to rope up. All of a sudden he does this wierd ass jump before blow torching and it doesnt run out! The blowtorch goes on forever and basically ruined the game to the stage where it wud not carry on. I sent some abusive messages to the nerd ass mother****er, after he responded straight after the incident with "I dont know what happened" what a cheap cover up lol!!!

Ive now heard at least 6 reports of him doing the exact same thing against other people in other matches... Now the secret of how he wins matches has been let out, I really think something should be done about this nerd. Nobody should have the right to ruin a match, just because he does not want to lose any points for being a loser!!!

I know for a fact he was cheating, cos he was trying this wierd jump before doing the blow torch all the way through the match and it worked out when he was near dead...

I seriously think this guy should be banned from xbox live and wiped off the worms leaderboard! I know the usual **** will happen and people will convieniently ignore this thread, but I think somebody needs to take notice as there is nothing more I hate then cheating nerds...

Your post would likely have gotten a lot more attention if you had said "I found a bug that allows you to blowtorch for an infinite amount of time. *explanation goes here*. Please Team17, can you fix this for the next update, as it is ruining a lot of matches."

He did say that Crook tried the same move several times before, apparently to try to glitch the game. So he most likely did knew what he was doing.

The reply is... no reply like all other times! Where is the support of team17? Maybe something like "we investigate on it" cold be better than No Reply at all? Maybe a rude post like this could point attention to team17, at least when they moderate it i hope they read the entire post...

Aside from anything else, most deleted posts are caught by me or Thomas who don't work for T17 and can't do anything about bugs, glitches or exploits.

meh i think its a lie, just my opinion.

Crook Ai is a good guy, and I don't think he used that to get into the top ranks, because he will kamikaze or forfeit if anyone doesn't like it. And he shows other people how to do the glitches if they want to know, so how would that just help him? He was in the top ranks way before these glitches were discovered.

Maybe.. i dont know.... but YOU try playing the cleanest match ever and see who wins... i mean he doesnt need glitches to be the top rank.. hes pretty damn well good by himself.

and i found those glitches out (yes me) about 3 weeks ago.. hmm 3 weeks.. nonstop glitching.... nobody would play with him... but its almost impossible not to becuase he plays almost 80-100 games a week.

I mean to pull what rank up in? weekly, monthly, ongoing?

I played with him in a 4 played ranked match before... i was on my last worm.. i was going to die no matter what he did... so he double-shot his bazooka... told everyone how to do it... then red said dont do that... so then crook kamakazied his worm his next turn ...he just wanted to show everyone the new glitches...... i mean he did but he dosnt use it in a bad way and benifit from it

Hmm. if he cheats, he kamakazies, right? So how's he sopposed to get in the top ranks if he forfeits all the time?

And the blowtorch thing... it freezes the game, so um.. he just lost his match..? its just like when the host is about to die, so he leaves... you get no points... its the same thing

But... if team17 fixes the glitch completely, and resets the leaderboards. and Crook's up there again.. that means hes mostly a legit player... and your going to be feeling like big dummies

Well I can tell you have a crush on the guy. ;)

Don't know if this the same glitch, but I was in a game this weekend where two players were using some sort of blow torch glitch. They'd use the blowtorch and then end it with a fire punch or drop a mine or whatever. Seemed they could use any weapon after using the torch.
Didn't write down their names, but will make note of it if I run into this again..
