Search the forum for "Real time worms" - this is asked pretty much every month and the general consensus of opinion is that it would be bad for the worms series.

i dont meant a spceial worm version i mean just a insignificant mode like homelands, destruccion, etc.(i like the turn sistem, but it will give more freedom)

It would be unfeasible to make it as a separate mode within a worms game, as you'd have to totally redesign the way the game works. It would only really work as a new game.

That is going to be difficult in the gameplay. Two worms are one step of the sea, they are the only in each team, they use prod, and noone wins.

Also you must have a fast Internet to get real-time worms.

And I don't say it is difficult only in gameplay! It will be difficult and in design, and it isn't good to change the hole game rules in just one new version that had many previous versions.

i say a game mode no a new game...a game turn based(like all the worms)but with a live mode

It would be possible, but it would take ages, trying to implement the live mode. It would be interesting to see it as a Sudden Death mode too, though. You wouldn't need THAT fast an internet, a standard 1 meg connection works for all my First Person Shooters in multiplayer.

So a game mode? OK then.

So a connection like mine will work with live mode?

I don't think so. Even in standard multiplayer, it takes a lot to load. I think the problem is because many times my Internet slows down, maybe in live mode recomended would be 2MBPS or 4.

Ever tried playing CS:S? Takes about 20 minutes to load, and then another 20 to download all the custom .wav's it has. And even then, it takes a while to load. But it plays fine, thanks to precaching.

Wait, what? So, it'll be difficult, but it won't be difficult, in gameplay?
