Howdy yall.

I've got vmware 6.0 running in a vista machine. 1GB ram, but 4GB coming soon XD.

WWP does run under vista.... kinda, if you change the desktop to 16bit, and even then i find it suss.

I heard you guys can run it inside vmware?. So i'd ike to do that, plus it gives me a windowed mode.

However WWP crashes on win98 and winxp virtual machines. Nothing installed in em except vmtools.

XP was service pack 2 with directx 9. I even enabled 3d acceleration, but still got nothing.

How do i run WWP in vmware?

mmm DO NOT USE 3D accelerated drivers.

The cause BSOD. Removing them magically fixed it.

Notes 1) Uninstall Vmware mouse drivers if you use ur mouse to play :P
2) when you boot up worms, Stay on the vmware until its done. if you switch partway it goes funky.

3) blow the crap outta worms :P

also if fullscreen, DONT use stretch screen. It messes the game up big time, from ultra smooth to incredibly laggy.

What do you mean do not use 3D accelerated drivers? I'am trying under win98(vmware 6) without any success :(
WWP start -> black screen -> fallback to desktop.
I've already tried to remove the vmware vga driver, but not helped...
