(What is the fourth wall, you may or may not ask? Well I'LL WIKIPEDIA WILL TELL YOU! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4th_wall)

When you look at most comics or TV shows, you can see three walls, the last having been removed so you can see in. The "fourth wall" is the imaginary wall the characters can see where in fact the audience is. Breaking the fourth wall means that the characters are aware that they are characters in a TV show or comic or whatever, and so they can address the audience, talk directly to the writer (who may be a character), read ahead on the script to see what's going to happen to them, and what-have-you. Cartoons do it all the time, as does Paul's forum comic. (I tend to avoid it, personally, because it's just not how I like to work.) The fourth wall, the one between audience and characters, is broken, and the characters can see what's really there.

The analogy doesn't work in outdoor scenes, but the principle does.

I think the original derivation goes back to theatre times, where you had your backdrop (Wall 1) and your Stage Left and Right (Walls 2 and 3). So the front of the stage, beyond which lay the audience, was the Fourth Wall, which many plays (any play with a Chorus, so we're going back to ancient Greece here) broke.

I've noticed a mistake! In the fourth panel Paul doesn't wear a mask!... except that's not me. That's Andrew. That's why he says "Paul's the Author" and not "I'm the Author", therefore making it patently obvious that he's not me.

And he only has his pencil in the first! The pencil has the magical ability to swap sides of my head, but only between comics.

Well, either you can't see well, or Paul really used to suck at drawing goggles!

The correct answer is B!

You would have been able to see the tip of his pencil though.
No you wouldn't. Look again at the first panel and notice that the tip of the pencil isn't higher than the top of PP's head.

http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/1792/untitledum1.gifTypical, knew I should have drawn mine earlier

Trouble is, it's rather hard to draw worms playing cricket. I only tried it once (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18521306/), and that was just a simple "rabbit tailender facing unseen quick bowler" and even then I made a hash of it. If you have any idea how to draw a worm bowler running in to bowl to a worm batsman, who proceeds to hit the cricket ball into the fourth wall (thus breaking it), then you be my guest.

I guess that would be a "wiggle"-run 30348 (like in FoP when the snails run away, or in snoozy's comics (page 2/3 iirc) ) followed by a jump-to-frontflip-to-sumasalt then pinning its own tail in the ground as the lower half comes down, using his upper body as a catapult using the followthrough, and then firing the ball while the body gets thrusted upwards. 30349

the batting worm is easy.

LOL hahahaha

I am looking into it - you don't appear to have been "totally" banned as you don't have a banned userstatus. It's possible the ban either didn't work properly, or you have been caught up in an IP address ban.

Here is my entry to this tourney of enjoyable tomfoolery.
I call it:
Symphony of Colors in the Eighth: Part VII: Summer's Wind (Werewolf and Angry Triangle in Pursuit of Worm While Giant Blue Head in Distance is Displeased).

http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/772/wwtipowwgbhididfa7.png

The whimsical characters presented in this painting are not merely running along a canvas, NO, but they are running across the international-computer-network browsing application ITSELF, due to the application of a transparent layer of artistic integrity. Aye, those are the given rules, and I believe that meet them I have.
