i play alice online sometimes (she is good friend from worms 2) and when i use the /V command in the game lobby (she hosts) it says she has v3.5 Beta 3pre3 however when we all light it says it is emulating 3.6.25.6

why?

Another bug I found, even though when you are a client it's supposed to only show yours and the host's version, it actually shows all of them. This is actually better.

How can this ever be a bug? It's unthinkable that something like that would be added accidentally. This is, of course, by design :)

Because the changelog says something different :p

In the Host/Join screens, entering "/v", "/ver", or "/versions" will display players' game logic versions. For clients, this will only include their own version and the host's version. For hosts, all players' versions will be displayed.

why?Hosts earlier than v3.6.28.0 do not report their game logic version to clients. I had originally accounted for this by making it show their version as "v3.5 Beta 3pre3-v3.6.26.5", but, when I extended the functionality of the "/v" command to show clients the versions of all players, I not only forgot to update the Readme to reflect this improvement, but also forgot to make it display ranges of versions for the host.

So, in the current beta, if a client uses "/v" and sees that the host is using "v3.5 Beta 3pre3", it actually just means that the host's version is earlier than 3.6.28.0.
