Sorry, I was confused because the Vista drivers had lower numbers.:(

nvidia has rereleased the 162.18 windows XP drivers with WHQL status.
nvidia has rereleased the 162.22 windows VISTA drivers with WHQL status.

Supposedly the non-beta 162.22 vista drivers work fine with WA. Let's hope the same is true for WWP.

After I installed the 162.22 Vista 64 driver, slowdowns I'd been experiencing in WWP disappeared completely. I'm quite surprised, I must say.
I also have to open an explorer window before I start the game, because otherwise I often get weird colors (this kind of workaround was suggested here (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showpost.php?p=576813&postcount=22)).

It seems that I can finally play my WWP on Vista, yeah!

I tried the new drivers today and indeed, the slow menu bug has disappeared.
'Bout time.

To me the 162.22 (Vista 32) doesen't work at all, it screw up my comps graphics completely! I stick to the 100.65 (Vista 32).

Uhh... I downloaded it when it had WHQL status! I spent 7 hours yesterday trying to make it work! And... I just can't believe that... It completely screwed up my Worms 4 framerate, but only Worms 4! When I installed an old 101.42 driver (or something like that) all of my games worked fine, except Worms 4 (choppy)!

I'm not going through all of that *$&**_*@*####!!!*** again...

franpa

no. i don't have wwp installed nor do i want to install it. i've merely been announcing when a new driver version is released so that others can test the drivers out with wwp.

NVidia has just released version 163.97 WHQL drivers for Vista. To make sure that they work properly, you have to install this hotfix (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940105).
