Last week I played against someone who was using an old worms version that had some kind of a speed boost.. I liked it, but I can't find it anywhere..

That version was emulated if it helps:
3.6.19.16 (1.5x Speed)

Does anyone still have it or know where to get it from?

That version can only be emulated by using a leaked alpha version that is floating around somewhere.

Speed boost... :D :D :D :D

That would be sweet to play w2w at higher speeds. You would have to work on your timing to adjust to the speed change but after you get used to it I bet it would be awesome.

How would you emulate an old version with an even newer one? (alpha) :P

Nope. I haven't.

Did you play against a person called "OlderVersionGuy" who disconnected? If so, it must have been pisto playing against you (he is the only other one apart from me who has the online version). If not, he might be someone else. (I haven't actually played an online 1.5x speed. I've been using teststuffs.)

actually, the only who have the wormnet version of that tool is me, muzer, and god2k. i gave him the wn version cos there's another method around to play game like that, found by another player, that works on wn and direct tcpip games, it's slightly faster and i think (though i havent tested yet) it works on multiple matches in a row, but it doesnt allow to play "offline" games, since you cant put a phantom team like with olderversionguy. and yet, it doesnt work with passworded games (at least without a fix i've found). so, since I and god2k (and the creator of course) know that other method, there are no reason to not give him the wormnet version.

If there was a bot, that was probably Pisto or one of his friends.
If no, that was probably me.

What is that method?

Was there a person called olderversionguy who disconnected after game start?
