Other threads on the Big Map patch have been removed, so I'll lock this one in the hope that CyberShadow can provide a bit more information, if he wants.

As far as I'm aware the only versions of the Big Map patch that exist are from a leaked alpha version, which for obvious reasons, T17 don't want distributed.

Enough has been said already. Please don't distribute the alpha - it is against the wishes of the developers, and the person this version was built for.
