Has anyone managed to get WWP running on a Mac? Do Windows emulators work for this game?

I got Worms Armageddon working quite well on a hideously old G3 iMac running Virtual PC and Windows 95 (then Win. 98), so I assume WWP will be much the same. The emulators don't handle 3D graphics well.

What type of Mac have you got - an Intel one or an older PowerPC one? If you've got an Intel one, Parallels (virtualisation software) now supports 3D graphics so WWP should definitely work. Failing that, use Boot Camp to boot into Windows, then it'll run just as well(/badly ;)) as it would on Windows on a "normal" computer.

Wine's been ported to OSX. It might work, though to my knowledge no one who knows what he's doing has tried it.

For IntelMacs, there is a "wrapper" that EA Games are using to lazily "port" their Windows games to Mac - if this is freely available then it might also work. But then you might as well just install Windows if you have an intelMac.

It's not (and it's basically the same as Cedega so wouldn't work well anyway), but Wine and CrossOver Mac are.

It's a MacBook, and it's not mine. It's actually my friends computer.

He couldn't get Worms Armageddon running on it see. I guess I just need to bring the disk over and test it.
