well first off i wanna say you guys are useless, all you do is complain on how noone will buy the game. Well i have a copy and i have the same problem as many others, i damaged my mission0.wam file by tweaking it. all i ask is the original contents typed for my right quick, (its really not that hard). and by provideing that info you are in no way helping me or anyone hack or get anything free i just dont want to loose ohter data by reinstalling. anyway if you could help me that would be awesome.

Piece of cake!
The file you want is situated here X:\Data\Mission\Mission0.wam on your copy.
And you don't even have to reinstall at all. Just copy it over.

and if that doesnt work for some bizzare reason, you can go and buy the game :)

So if you're not a pirate why didn't you backup and reinstall? (bonz's solution is better but you didn't have that information before)

Great first sentence on this forum

It is Team17 - the developer's - choice not to provide help to people who don't pay for their games. That's a bit like stealing a car and then going to an official dealership for that car and asking them to repaint it so the police won't spot you.

Good comparison :).

We can't really help you fix a problem with a hacked game or a game that you havn't paid for and thus don't have the right to own it. Most of us don't want to be banned.
If you havn't noticed, this is Team17's official forum.

http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=32797 - that thread is stickied too.

As others have said, just backup and reinstall! Simple.
