No. Im only writing more words because there's a 10 character minimum limit.

Oh, I might add that DS Using the Online Wi-Fi service, whilst the PSP connects to other PSP's Ad-Hoc.

Sony and Nintendo are competitors. You might want to remind your cousin of this. And then you should just laugh at him. Laugh long and hard until he cries. Point while you laugh too for a double damage bonus!

You can also play the PSP version online you know.

Unfortunately, you cannot play mixed DS and PSP games.

The PSP connects both using infrastructure and ad-hoc modes.

My buddy told me that it is possible to modify the systems so that they are compatible.

I know we're not supposed to talk about modding but I'm actually curious myself as to whether or not this is actually possible.

Actually, somebody made a homebrew tic-tac-toe game some time ago that had wireless play between a DS and a PSP. But yeah, there's no way that you could play online against each other with different systems.

Yeah, but that's a homebrew app that's been designed to share data. Likely the WOW2 engines for the two systems are too fundamentally different to transmit info. That's like asking the PSone version of WA to run using the PC datafiles.

Yeah, I know it's impossible for a commercial game like Worms. I just thought it was pretty cool that it was possible to make the two systems interact like that.

I can't tell whether or not you were trying to sound like an ass. Either way, that's how you sounded.

I wasn't saying it's true because my buddy told me about it. I merely mentioned it in light of the poster's question. Infact, I asked if anyone else knew if it was possible. Also I didn't say that it would be something that Team 17 would develope. I said it was apparently some kind of modification that was made on both systems.

There is no magical hack to make a PSP compatible with a DS. Perhaps in a few years someone will make a slow and impractical DS emulator for PSP, but for now, if you want to play online, you need the same system and game as your friend

I sometimes for get that everything people see and hear on the Intertubes is 100% accurate information. My apologies, I shall be more observant in the future.

Well PC + Mac seem to be able to communicate with each other. And their competitors.

But I get the point. I wish it wasn't this way but what can you do?
