I'm not sure exactly what this error is, but this is the best I can give. My friend installed WWP, has a recent version of DirectX, runs Windows XP, and by and large has the system requirements covered. However, he can't even get the game to run. Upon opening WWP, the screen turns black for a second, the monitor shuts on and off a few times, and then the program crashes and he gets the standard "blah blah WWP crashed, do you want to send an error report" message. As of now, none of us can figure out the issue or how to solve it or what's even causing it.

Does anybody have any idea about this?

You need to apply the patch if you haven't yet already.

No, he's tried that already, and it didn't change anything at all. It's weird <_<

On an updated version of the game, try running it with the -nointro target line parameter.

You achieve this by right clicking the shortcut you're running the game from, selecting Properties, then adding -nointro outside the quotation marks in the Target line.

You can also do what most people do and reinstall the game a dozen times, hoping for an improvement. In case the above fails.

He's talking about WWP you know. I didn't think it had the nointro target line parameter.

*just tested it on his own WWP*

Well, that works for getting rid of the intro certainly, but not for my friend. He still has the exact same error now. Any other ideas <_<?

WA has /NOINTRO and wwp has -NOINTRO
