Hi all,

First post here!

I've been spending a little time getting up to speed with all that's been happening since I stopped playing W:A all those years ago. Suffice to say the future looks promising for W:A and the fact that updates have been released and are planned for release is rather amazing! Well done!

Anyway, based on when I used to play W:A I have a few Q's for those more knowledgeable than myself:

1. How can one disable the darker background terrain that appears behind blown up terrain? The darker background terrain has always annoyed me as I can never tell when terrain's completely gone or there's still tiny bits left.

2. Worm stats - are there any plans to introduce interesting worm stats in a future update? All the currrent stats seem to be team-based and I really miss those individual worm stats that the really early Worms titles had.

Cheers

Only way I can think of would be to play on a custom PNG map with 113 or more colors, as then there are too many colors in the palette than the game can handle and reduces background stuff and those dark blown up terrain you mentioned.

I have no idea if the patch developers are intending to do something in that direction, but you never know.

Hmm...
Those were in Worms 2, weren't they?
Deadcode once speculated if it was feasible to add W2 to the merge of WA & WWP.
If so, he might have a look at the code for those stats messages.

Yeah, Worms 2 is right! It had things like worm of the match and kept track of each worm's number of kills, etc. :D
