That's pretty good. Great stuff. The large worm's eyebrow could do with being a bit more over his eye rather than too the side, but otherwise it's all good. The shading is nice too.

I smell some talent.

Very well done citizen. Those are some Fanart pieces of great greatness.

Good ! :)
The shade of the Worm Almighty is nice and I like the effect of the foreground-background in the first picture.

Oops, sorry ! I'm French and I wrote "logiciel" whereas I wanted to write "program"... (I didn't find the word ^^).

What do you use in Photoshop to draw your lines ? Because I find them a little "pixel-ed".

Ohhh^^ ok. I used Photoshop CS and they look pixel-ey because i use threshold to make the color fill smooth up against the line. Because when i fill it in when i just make the line darker there are small pixels that make it look bad. Yes i know that i can paint over those, but i am lazy.

so just tell me if any of you have better ways of coloring please:confused:

OK this might be a double post but i wanna show you guys my new stuff.

Nice !

To have smooth and nice lines, I have a trick : I open a "giant document", about 8000*6000 pixels. I draw like I'd draw if it was a small doc, then I contract the doc : 8000*6000px become a 800*600 (smaller or bigger it all depends what you want to do).

So, you have smooth lines, but trembling disappeared ! :)

But now, I use Inkscape, a more simple Flash-like freeware using vectors.

I think smooth lines are easier to produce if you enable anti-aliasing on your pen tool, or whatever tool you use to draw the lines. Unfortunately, the problem with anit-aliasing is that it becomes much more difficult to use the paint bucket fill tool, as it has a tendency to leave small white pixels near to the line, due to them merging the colour with the white background.

A good idea may be to use a transparent background before you start, and put the lines on a higher layer, so they are semi-transparent and automatically blend in when you fill the area.

Yeah and can you change layers in the Gimp is what I wanna know.

What? Of course you can. Dialogs --> Layers. This will open up a little window where you can go about your layer buisness. You don't need to close this window when you've finished, it should even open automatically next time you start the program.

-EDIT- @ yuahui. Are you also talking about GIMP? If so, make sure your image is in rgb mode (Image --> Mode), then go to Layer --> Transparency and choose Add Alpha Chanel. You can then select the area you want to be transparent (best done with the magic wand tool) and then cut it (Ctrl + X).

Thank you Melon and MacGyworm. I'll try those sujestions, but i'm still having trouble with the dang pen tool. It confuses me how you can make drawings like mine and yours with it. Like, is there a trick to it or sumthin'?
