I just dug up my old Worms Armageddon disk this morning and tried to install it. Now, I know that for WA to work on XP you need a patch. Anyway, I get the Sold-Out Software installer thingy (normal). I go to install game, accept the agreement, decline help, and.....nothing happens. Anyone have any ideas as to what's going wrong?

Try using this (http://madewokherd.nfshost.com/worms/unwain.exe) unofficial installer tool.

N.B.: It doesn't create any start menu shortcuts, so you'll have to do that yourself. It also patches and updates the game correctly automatically.

Thank you so much! I loved this game back when I first got it and then got a trojan, had to wipe the computer, and lost the disk. I found it this morning and now I'm back into worming!

About the installer, it was slower than molasses but it got the job done. And what matters is if it gets the job done. Again thank you!
