I recently got a new connection.
Satalite Connection, which connects to a router with my lap top connects too, before I had Dial Up, directly connected to my lap top, and had no troubles hosting.
(This is all on the Online network)

Now, I cannot Host a game at all.

Anything thoughts as to what to do?!

I am assuming it has to do with the firewall/proxy port config'.
But for the proxy port, I have no idea how to get this number.

I am at a total loss here.

I can still play online games, just cannot host them.

There has to be some sollution...

I fail to belive it is my computers personal firewall, or such. So really, I need a way to find this so called proxy port, or else wise.

Please Help!

The router works even when the main computer is turned off, but I am working off a lap top, and I have had zero troubles with it so far.

Any questions or comments, please post, I will try and post right away!

Try hosting a game, minimising and then using this website (http://www.canyouseeme.org/) to check if your port 17011 is open.
If it's not, you'll have to revise your router and PC firewall's configurations.

try this .

It's not supposed to help, it's supposed to help us diagnose your problem. Tell us if the website sees your port as open or not.

My ISP is not blocking port 17011

In that case, you only need to set your external IP in W:A's network configuration dialog. You can find it at the same website.

www.whatismyip.org might be the simplest way of finding it tho ;) since it shows your external IP in plain text and nothing else.

DJ_Canada: you will have to be more explicit with your posts. Since CanYouSeeMe.org can connect to your hosted game when you host one, your computer is accessible from the Internet. All you have to do is to make W:A use your external IP address. Don't forget to check the "Force IP" option.

I put in my external IP, I clicked force IP....

I still cannot host.....

How explicit can I get

That makes no sense. Please contact me by one of the IM protocols under my avatar, or come to #worms on GameSurge (http://wiki.thecybershadow.net/Worms_on_GameSurge) so I can help you with the problem personally.
