Hi, i have played a lot in "Anything Goes" lately and there are a lot of people that use some kind of glitch to survive sudden deaths. I have searched the forum, and tried to find more info about it but the only thing i found was something about a girder glitch.

Anyways, a couple of days ago, i played with a lot of people on a cavern map. Suddenly, one of the teams placed a girder into the wall. Then he seemed to be inside the wall, and when sudden death started, everyone else died but his team survived. (His team was invisible so i couldnt see where it was either).

I would like to know how to perform the glitch (so i can get those worms that cowardly hides :). I don't like cheating, but i also think it's unfair if people use that glitch to win. So, could somebody tell me how to perform it?:)

Sorry, but I'm afraid we aren't going to let the world know how to do this. As you can see, this form of cheating is a potential game-ruiner, and the less people that know it the better.

Your best bet would be to remember then name and team name of anybody you see doing it (write it down). Then don't play them again.

I'm pretty sure this glitch has been removed in WA. You could always play it instead if it causes that much bother.

For your information I personally don't know how to do this glitch, but if I did, I wouldn't tell you.

Ok, I see. No, I agree on that it would be best if nobody would know about it, but the problem is that alot of people already know and uses it. There is no meaning in writing down name and team name, cause a lot of people tend to change their username if they have done something "stupid". And hence, uses other teams as well. Sure, I can play W:A instead, but i prefer wwp and thinks it's kinda sick if I have to play another game just because there are cheaters.

Fair enough. I haven't played WWP in ages, mainly because this computer doesn't like it, so I have no idea just how bad the situation is.

You could try hosting your own game and specifically mention before it starts that nobody should abuse any glitches.
I personally hate cheating on an online game, I'm not even a fan of "cluster abuse" where you can deal 90 damage using a cluster bomb, but I don't think that's technically classed as a glitch or cheating, it's just the way the weapon works.

I nearly always host my own games when I play online. I usually mention it, but since there is no possibility to kick a person once in the game, it's impossible to keep these people out. Most people probably don't know how to do it, but there are a lot of fellas that has find out.

Is there any other way to kill the cheaters worms (besides using the glitch and getting to them)?

I suggest you immediately quit the game (with Alt-F4) and rehost if you have a cheater on board.
Do that without any comment and kick the player if he joins again.

Alt+F4 does not work on WWP, but Quitting the game is a valid solution.

It would be even better if you made a point when you quit the game. In a tactful and respectful manner, tell the cheater that you do not appreciate what he is doing and explain that you are ending the game because of it.

Maybe he'll think twice about doing it in the next game he plays.

Maybe he'll immediately change his nickname and rejoin the next game you host. :/

I'm not gonna explain the trick if its what i think it is, but is it the same trick with the girder in worms 2 but with a different effect upon completion of said trick?
