Photo Story Competition

Overview:

This is the Photo Story Competition. A new competition which you have to make a story with photos from Worms 4 : Mayhem. What do I mean? You must make a story but not with text, but with photos. Example, at the first photo a worm is moving, at the second it goes near an enemy worm and at the third it kills the enemy worm. You must make a story with photos and post it in the topic. The best photo story will win. You can post the stories until 30th June 2007. Then you won't be able to post another stories. In 10th July 2007, the best story will win. The rest people can vote which story is best by a poll to help me.

Rules:

"I won't accept photos from Worms 1, Worms 2, Worms 3D and the other versions. Only from Worms 4 : Mayhem."
"Maximum pictures are 5."
"You must give your story a name."
"You must not write text or explainings for your story."
"You must have a story with good and acceptable meaning."
"In the end of the competition, the winner who took part must write his/her e-mail to receive his/her memorial. The memorial for the losers will be linked in this topic."
"You must post your story until 30th June. I won't accept stories which will be posted after 30th June."
"If it's possible, post pictures with high quality, for the others to understand them."
"At 10th of July, the competition will end. Then the winner will have 10 days to write their emails to receive their memorials and the cups."
"You can post and another story. You can post maximum 3 stories but not more to leave room to others."

Prize:

There won't be prize for this competition. Just 1 memorial and 3 cups.

Winners:

The winner will be 1. He/she will get special memorials as well. Also the losers will get memorials.

Well, you can make any story you want, but only with pictures.

Good story, but you must use only pictures. See my example. A worm is moving around the landscape, then he goes near an enemy worm, then he gets a baseball bat and he throws the enemy into the water. You have to use only pictures without text or meanings, so you must have a good meaning!

You're right, it takes a lot to load. But your story is great, excellent try!

Now I'm telling something to users who want to post their own story but they haven't posted it yet : I'm probably going to change the ending time of the competition. If I change it, I'll make it for the 20th June or earlier. So post your stories quickly!

Well, there are a lot of ways to take pictures in games. You can press Print Screen to take a picture and then paste it. You can use a camera as well. I'm using Fraps. (www.fraps.com) You can download it or buy it. I've downloaded it and the pictures have great quality. I recommend Fraps to take pictures. Then attach them in your post.

When you post a reply, go to Additional Options. Go to Attach Files and click Manage Attachments. Then select the pictures you want to attach and click Upload. Then close the window. Write your text you want and then post you reply!

Try this:

Edit carefully your "default.cfg" file on the Worms 4 Mayhem folder, then see that there is a "//ALLOWSCREENSHOTS" thingy, edit to "/ALLOWSCREENSHOTS", easy, no? Just remove a "/". :D Then press "Impr Pant (Pet Sis)*" and TADA! Check your W4M folder for a "Screen###.bmp" file.

*(Pet Sis) means that may include "Pet Sis" on the button, like mine.

Sorry, I didn't thought this is the name. But I don't think it's a valid name. You should call this story like " The high-flying worm" or something else. This name tells you like this thing more than over things in Worms 4 : Mayhem. If you want change the name or keep it.

Well, we have 5 days... well, I want to tell you something you maybe don't know. If also your second story will win, you'll get two memorials. If you post and another story, and your stories will win in the first places, you'll get 3 memorials and all the cups. If and your another stories will be winners, you'll get and a second memorial, don't forget it! So, if you want to be an winner, it will be better posting more than one stories! (maximum 3) Remember it!

Thanks for these competitions MC Master, they are very fun. I will enjoy this next one, but I think you should add a new twist. like themes or something.

So in first compeition add this theme, on the other this theam and others?

I'll try it in a future compeition, I say it again : I should have more stories in my compeition, so i don' have to make changes again!!!
