I thought it was okay, nothing to write home about but certainly better than, say, Worms Armageddon for the GBC and on a par with the other GB titles.

it was okay because i just made up missions for example build a control tower(girders) to spy on the enemy but mabybe the glitches looked weird on it:confused:

The last time I said I didn't really like it - a bunch of forum members came round to my house that night and beat me up, or yelled at me on a forum, I forget now?

Anyway I didn't really like it much, I played it once but never got into it. I think this is because I play Worms Armagddon to the PC which offers so much more in my oppinion and so I conpair those 2 games with each other and thus the under performer game gets neglected and in this case it was Open Warfair on the DS.

Well that's a perfectly acceptable and rational reason, which I have no complaints whatsoever for.
Also, in a completely unrelated matter, you wou mind telling us your home address?

Uh oh, I can see an angry mod forming - perhaps if I turned out the lights then they wont think I'm home. :D

I think one of the reasons these forums exist is so team17 can hear what we think about it.

Personally I think the PSP version was better(my cousine owns it for that system)
because it had movies and better graphics the only good thing about the DS version is the touch screen capabillities. BTW anyone know why they didn't have movies on the DS but had it for the PSP

I think it sucked that's all.The missions were...
And also there was no online mode.
Teh game was full of bugs making it really REALLY annoying and there were not all the weapons just a few of 'em.Now there was just no appeal whatsoever it was at least playable.Sorry guys I love the Worms series cause it was my first game on my 486 back in 95' and I still have it in it's box and play it from time to time, but only to think of this it makes me sick.

I have to say, I played through it and finished it extremely quickly but having bought it for about £7 I find it hard to moan too much.

Having said that, I don't think anyone would argue that I'm moaning too much when I say that there should have been more to the game. I mean, 20 missions which didn't come close to challenging me and what felt like an excessively limited arsenal made for a disappointing experience.

I think I prefered Forts on my mobile, if I'm honest.

It was my very first worms game, and i had nothing to compare it to. Therefore, I loved it. All my friends at school would pretty much force me to bring it so we could play hot seat multiplayer on the bus. However, it did have many bugs that annoyed me, like when i fell through the ground while trying to rope, and got stuck in gas cans. I must say that i prefer wow 2, mainly because of wifi, but i loved the first one as well.

My girlfriend bought it today and I tried it (I'm an old Worms fan). One game was enough for me. What's with the no button config? My brain gets fried every time I play Worms on a different platform. I found that the upper screen is useless, as my brain just imagined there was one tiny little screen and that it was the one on the bottom and that the worms were bigger than they should be heh heh. Moving the camera around was a little annoying because of no analog stick, but what do you do? It's a DS. :p
I'm sorry - I need to learn how to read before I type. She actually bought the 2nd version of Open Warefare. Please forgive my baseless accusations against the first version of this game as I'm certain none of these apply.

I didn't really like it too much. It was too easy, and there almost no good weapons.

i didnt mind it, but as previously stated, the missions were way too easy, and lack of weapons didnt help.

speaking of glitches, i somehow managed to get stuck in lanscape playing worms 3d today :p

OWF 1 was pretty good, I had no complaints. But they improved everything a lot in OWF2

I think it was acceptable but i did hate it not having some weapons (holy hand grenade, Concrete donkey ............) Since it didn't have any objectives i made up some of my own like making a base (with girders)
and destroying the enemies .
