Dunno where else to put this but this seems as good a place as any.

I made my first account here last year and tried to use the name that I normally do, "AlMightyBob" but after registering I noticed that I had been registered as "AlMightyBo (http://forum.team17.co.uk/member.php?u=53178)" since the name wouldn't fit into the field. If it's at all possible to add the extra b to the account then it would be much appreciated. :)

For starters, you're not supposed to register two accounts. And it isn't possible to add another letter onto the end of your account due to the 10-charectar limit that is in place at this forum.

Plus we don't have a permanent forum webmaster to do things like that - everyone else is very busy.

Not to mention Bawb is much cooler anyway.

Was there always a limit to the name length because I've seen other people with longer names. Plus there's no way I'm posting on the forum as AlMightyBo, that's just embarrassing.

Edit: The limit was introduce a long while ago, but yeah, a few of us slipped in before it. I registered way back in 2001.
