Okay,my wireless router linksys is not allowing me to host games,well actually no-one can come to them. I don't know the password nor the username to access the linksys. My dad set it up,but he thinks that "Something bad might happen" and keeps saying NO. Can someone tell me how to open it so I can Host?

Simple answer: You can't unless your dad gives you the password.

Nothing bad can happen if you forward just the game's port, 17011. I've never heard of any other software using this port, so it should be safe (or at least as safe as without that port forwarded). If you need to, you can direct your father to this post, coming from one of the game's current maintainers :)
