So i bought WWP today from GAME - it's a sold out one for the PC, hoping to rekindle some old worms with bazooka moments :rolleyes: but once i'd installed it, it comes up with the windows error message and its really really annoying:

I've tried so many things to get it to work, reinstalling it, restarting the computer, downloading the sold-out patch, downloading the patch from the WWP server, changing settings, and im just gettin fed up so i thought i'd see if anyone else gets the problem

Computer uses:
Intel Pentium (R) 4 CPU 3.20 GHz
3.19 GHz 512 MB of RAM

But i have a feeling its my computer because the game works fine on my dads computer :(

update your game to v3.0.00.0 then update the game a 2nd time (yes you need to apply two updates) with v3.6.26.5 beta.

if it still fails then reinstall the game and do the above without running the game first.

I have a sneaking suspicion you're confusing WWP with WA.

well, since no one here has suggested it, try installing service pack 1 for the game.

i'm having the exact same problem with world party running on XP i've tried to install SP1 but its made no difference is the game compatible with DX9.0c?
