i installed the game,i installed the patch and the newest update
Everything gos ok,the options,making teams,choosing resolution,selecting map etc

but when i click ''Start the game'' the screen gos black,i hear the cd spinning for a while as if its loading something,but nothing happens,i cant go to desktop,alt tab alt esc wont work.
what should i do?

I'm no expert, but you may have patched your game incorrectly. Getting the latest patch and then the beta update works for anyone using version 1 of the game, but if yours started on version 3 then installing the v3 patch will break it.

Try reinstalling the game, but before patching right click your exe file and go to the version tab, if it's on version 3 then just install the beta patch. If it starts on version 1 then what you did (patch then beta) is right and in which case what is your OS and Graphics card?

(If someone else has another suggestion they may know more of what they are talking about).

Follow Cybershadow's link if you're not sure, but essentially yes just installing the beta is what you need to do. If however that is not enough to solve the problem...
