ive got win MCE and when ever i play everything moves at least 2-3 times normal speed. i would have searched for this thread, but the search isnt very good ...

Could be your video card drivers not limiting the framerate to 50. I have no clue why this would happen, though. Or you could be running XSpeed in the background, but I don't think that's the problem. You could also try and run XSpeed to lower the framerate to something more playable, but you shouldn't do this in online matches (it is considered cheating).

I had this problem a few years back with WWP on WinXP (speeding stars in the background).
Activating V-sync in the graphic driver settings helped.

nm, reinstalled with directx 6 and i dont think it patched correctly....all better :)

Interesting thought though... if he did use xSpeed to get it to normal speed, there wouldn't be any lag, would there? Would that make it undetectable?

I had a problem before where my graphics card would make the falling debris in the background run at stupid speeds, when I unplugged my laptop the power saving would kick in and then the debris would fall normally. But it never sped up the actual in game activity like moving worms.

Hey I got your point after reading it twice. Nice one there. Who know if there are uber cheaters using this method?
