uuuh... ff uit het koppie... start, instellingen (settings), configuratiescherm (control panel), en dan iets dat regionale instellingen heet ofzo. Tabblad geavanceerd -> en kijk Screenshot:

I have to set this in my english version also, otherwise I'd get a US flag or something.
***age, Unit xD

AFAIK, that's not the setting W:A uses to determine your country flag on WormNET.
It uses the Location setting from the first tab of the same dialog.

What do you mean?

What do you mean?
Click the tab labelled "Regional Options" (on the same dialog window as seen in the image above).
A the bottom there's a combo box titled Location.

That way you can base your flag according to the location the computer situated (ping, lag,...) rather than the language the user is speaking (English is the de facto standard anyway).

Oops, I always get confused which box it was cause I change it once and never again xD
So then it's on this screen ->

Of course now I have the same question but under Linux Edgy Eft. Anyone have a clue how to change the glag in WN?

Nope, I have the same problem in edgy with wine.

In fact, I'll try winecfg.

EDIT: Nope, nothing in winecfg :(

And what's a glag? :p

Hahah, misspelled. I meant 'flag'.

It's really annoying, really. Please CyberShadow or Madeworkherd, do you know anything about this?

Mirux: If it can, W:A uses the "Location" setting specified above. This setting is stored in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\Geo\Nation (which is a REG_SZ value). I'm not sure what are the values for a specific country, though, but I can find out if you tell me which one you need.

It doesn't matter, I can look on my windows boot for what the value is. I'm also not sure how to modify the registry in wine, I'll try a few more obvious things (like wine regedit.exe) but if I can't find it I'll post back here.

EDIT: Aha, it is wine regedit.exe :)

EDIT2: UK=242

EDIT3: It works perfectly, ty, it turns out the value didn't actually exist in wine's registry, why did WA default to America if the game is UK-ish?

because the game is american but released in the UK via a UK publisher?

Ever wondered where Ossett, Yorkshire is? And why everything in this forum seems to revolve around the UK?

If only there was a category on the "Infraction Points" list called "Calling Team17 Americans"...

I'd like to see a user title showing the current franpa alert reintroduced specially for franpa. :)
