it looks like trymedia hates me cause they dont wanna give me a refund, but since i do actually own the game (bought it twice on two different computers!) shouldnt it be okay for me to download a torrent with the cd version of worms armageddon, what do you think?

The TryMedia version of W:A is advertised as featuring online play and it doesn't. Given that fact, if you ask for your money back they're legally obliged to refund it or to send you a version that does. Don't take no for an answer. Keep pestering them until they give in.

No.

Legally, no.

Morally, that's debatable.

I wouldn't bother though - most pirate versions tend to be in some way broken.

If you used a credit card, you can request a chargeback.

Yes, WA is cheaper to buy on CD produced by SoldOut, because you can get a nifty little package of WA and W2! And it's not really worth getting WWP (just letting you know). Trymedia Worms = rip-off.

Best way is (if you can) to host simple matches (call them "normal") and then talk to people whilst playing, they'll help you out and may even offer to show you in another game.

If you can't host, ask around, people are for the most part very nice, just don't be put off if someone isn't very polite to you for being new to online gaming.
