Hey everyone,

I came across this problem today after I bought a Sold Out copy of Worms World Party, which was a Sold Out Software version. If you experience the following problem, try this solution, it worked for me fine. I believe it's down to bad indexing on Sold Out's behalf.

Problem: When entering a game, most likely multiplayer or internet/LAN game, the loading screen becomes pink with a black square where the loading logo should be, and upon that screen dissapearing, the game starts with a black screen, and the game runs without visuals, just a black screen, with the sounds in the background.

Solution: You need to copy files from your CD to the Worms World Party folder. To do so, go to My Computer, then right click the WWP CD-ROM icon and click on Explore (For older versions of windows if this option is not available, select 'Open'). Now double click on the folder named 'DATA'. Leave this window open, then open another window by double clicking My Computer on your Desktop again, navagate to the directory you installed Worms World Party (Default would be C:\Team 17\Worms World Party) and double click on the folder in there named 'Data'. Now go back to your previous window, press Ctrl+A to select all the files, then right click one, making sure they all stay selected and select 'Copy'. Now go back to the Worms World Party 'Data' folder on the hard drive and right click on a blank space and click 'Paste'. The files will now be copied from the CD into the Data folder. If a Dialog box appears with the message 'This folder already contains the folder named suchandsuch' select Yes to All from all the buttons. After this is finished, load up Worms World Party and you're ready to go.

Please post in this thread your results to this. And if it turns out that this is the problem, lt T17 know, and get them to have words with Sold Out and get them to start making their diss a little better.

And get rid of that annoying autorun when you put the bloody disc in.

Hey SerFox.

Thanks for instructions. This blank screen started to show sometimes a long time ago, but lately I get it anytime I want to run any type of game. However, your solution doesn't work - it still requires Original WWP CD in drive for start the game. I use virtual drive (I created image from my original CD). Is there any solution to that? I am afraid that because CD is in the drive, it still reads data files from CD, not from directory on hard drive.

Thank you for your answer,
best regards,
J_J_J.
