Something I hadn't seen or read about until the game I just finished. I was moving my worm around, walking/jumping when all of a sudden it started firing a rocket randomly. While it was charging I was still controlling my worm, walking/jumping, and had no control over shot angle. It fired and my turn ended.

That sounds like a dodgy controller to me.

No..I was moving my worm around when all of a sudden the graphics and sound of a rocket firing start. I'm not even sure I had rocket selected and the bazooka or whatever didn't show up as it was firing. I was STILL moving my worm freely when the rocket was charging up. I had no control over shot power or direction (as my controls were still controlling the movement of my worm). I even jumped while the rocket was charging.

It was definitely a bug, just not sure if anyone has brought it up before.

Cause if not that cant be controller bug, how would dodgy controller allow you to move while shooting

To clarify, were you playing against the AI or was this against another person? Was the bazooka fired at full power?

I was playing a ranked match online. Yeah it charged up to full power and shot.

I had once that it fired a Bazooka when using a rope. Don't know if it is possible at all to use a Bazooka when roping. (If i'd be at home I would check it.) If it is, it could be my mistake by firing instead of releasing the rope. (Although I can't remember I ever selected a Bazooka when using a rope.)

yade, yes, it's possible to fire a bazooka from a rope.

Ok, than that's probably not a bug but a human error. ;)

hmmm..... well actually.. after playing challenge one a gizillion times.. i did notice that i could charge my bazooka while moveing as long as i held down the 'A' button..it happened once on accident and then i tried to figure it out...

what i think is happening is..i go to my weapon menu..and say i want to select my shotgun(keep in mind my worm already wielded a bazooka b4hand)..after the cursor is on shotgun(or whatever weapon)..instead of pressing 'A' i hold it down..then i kinda 'roll' my thumb onto 'X' and 'B'(i was trying to go fast and immediately jump after and instead of selectiong shotgun i canceled)..i did jump but while i was jumping i was shooting a bazooka at the same time..i was able to repeat this several times..but not in a row..which means i dont completely understand it but was able to repeat it..i dont really see the value in doing it..but accidentally doing it would b a nuisance....

in this situation that i have explaned..u could fire the rocket whenever u let the button go..but the first time it happend to me it charged up on its own..

on a possibly realted topic..a few times i would go to make my move(fire a rocket or even do a kama.)and instead of doing what is expected..it's as though i tapped the 'A' button(i.e. the rocket explodes next to me)..now to b clear..in fear of this happening..i always firmly press the button..and if that were the case it wouldnt explain y my kama. just makes me explode without moving in any direction...

this has happend only when i was online playing with friends(who think i suk now)..my guess is it's somehow related to lag while firing..

Had a weird one last night. 4 player match but 2 dropped out quite early. Left the host vs me and quite quickly is was 1 on 1. His final turn he messed up with his shotgun and left himself in a pit. When my turn began his position had changed and some of the damage he had done himself was gone. I then killed him, went through all the post-match stats screens then went to check my ranking - the win had not been credited to me. I mailed the host and he swore blind that his stats had been updated. Seems to me that lately only 50% of games are going to conclusion and so many times I've had a game won and something (lost connection, grumpy host, glitch) stands in the way of my being credited with the win.

So yeah it happened again tonight. I figured it out and can reproduce it easily. This is a major exploit and must be fixed in the patch if it isn't already.
