I've seen this happen once. I was the host, and saw 4 people... all with teams already set. When I started the game, it was only me and one other player.

That player had seen the other two players... so we both knew it should have been a 4 player game.

I believe the random timed mines are only with the Ranked weapon setup selected.
As i usually play with very limited setup with my m8s and never notice them - except for Ranked but unfortunatly this is set to 1 round only.

Please can Team 17 add the random timed mines on to custom setups as this would greatly improve play in this area.

I hate mine clearing!!!

I love missing my opponent with a rocket launcher only to knock a mine on to them instead :p

How do the updates work, do you replace the executable with an updated one?

or you change the source file and the 360 has them inside so it could just compile it on the console itself?

I have no idea.. but i want to program for 360 arcade Soooo badly... too bad im 15 1/2

How do the updates work, do you replace the executable with an updated one?
When you load a game while connected to Xbox Live (http://www.xbox.com/live/) and a "Title Update" (a.k.a. Game Update) is available, you'll be instantly disconnected from Xbox Live. You'll then be asked if you want to apply this update. Selecting "No" will allow the the game to be played like normal, however, you'll be unable to utilize the Xbox Live features of the game (i.e. Xbox Live online multiplayer*, Leaderboards, and/or Xbox Live Marketplace downloads**). Selecting "Yes" (to apply the update) will cause the Title Update to download and automatically be applied. Once the update has been applied, you'll be signed back in to Xbox Live.

Downloaded Title Updates are downloaded to the Xbox 360 Hard Drive or Xbox 360 Memory Unit. They are hidden from view by the user as they are placed in what is called a cache (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cache) (pronounced "cash"), however, this cache can be cleared out by entering a certain button combination in the Memory area of the Xbox 360 Dashboard's "system" blade.

More information (http://www.xbox.com/support/systemuse/xbox360/console/updates.htm) can be found on Xbox.com (http://www.xbox.com/).

* Only those with an Xbox Live Gold membership have access to Xbox Live online multiplayer.
** Not all Xbox Live Arcade games have downloadable content on Xbox Live Marketplace. Also, some content on Xbox Live Marketplace may not be immediately available to those with an Xbox Live Silver membership until 2 weeks after it's initial release to Xbox Live Gold members.

Like creating games for the Xbox 360?

Take a look at XNA (http://creators.xna.com/Education/GettingStarted.aspx) at Creators.XNA.com (http://creators.xna.com/).

You'll find all of the information you need about XNA Game Studio Express and the XNA Creators Club.

NOTE: You'll need the latest version of Visual C# 2005 Express Edition and DirectX installed.

Hi, can anyone tell me whether or not the customising worms (like open warfare 2 PSP) will be implemented in the future and will it become an available download?

Hi, can anyone tell me whether or not the customizing worms (like open warfare 2 PSP) will be implemented in the future and will it become an available download?
I can't really answer your question 100% as I've never played Worms Open Warfare 2, however, I can tell you that you can create up to 4 custom teams each with:

- Customized team name (limited to 13 characters)
- Custom speech bank (free downloadable expansion speech banks available on Xbox Live Marketplace)
- Custom gravestone (the "RIP" stone left behind after the worm dies)
- Custom control by human or by A.I. (applies only to local multiplayer)
- Custom personality (applies only to local multiplayer with control set to A.I.)
- Customizable names for all 4 worms (limited to 13 characters)

NOTE: Some custom names are filtered out by Xbox Live when playing an Xbox Live multiplayer match. For example, the "b" word, "a" word, and "f" word (though I'm sure you know what they are) will be filtered out as they are inappropriate. If such names are used, they are automatically replaced with "Naughty" and "Unpleasant" (or similar) during an Xbox Live multiplayer match.

Thanks Lightsup55. In Worms Open Warfare 2 you can change the colour of your worms (blue, orange, green etc). You can customise all the bullet points you make with the addition that you can also give the worms hats (Desert Storm, Drill Sgt, Indian, Cowboy). Although only cosmetic these additions, IMO, make the game a lot better; teams are easier to see and diferentiate from.

Hey, if I tell any of you team17 guys any of the glitches. Will you try to fix some of them? There are 6, at least 1 I know you can fix. It crashes your Xbox.

Yeah, system crashes are always easy to fix. You just look down the code for System.Crash(System.Crashes.NoStatedReason); and comment it out.

Here it is...

If you place a girder at the very far bottom left or right of an island-type level, it crashes your Xbox, needing a restart.

The other glitch I know you can fix is just like the rope glitch that allows you to shoot more then once, except with a jetpack. This is super fun because you can drop up to 13 mines in one turn, it's super fun in custom games, but could be achievable if someone has gotten two jetpacks in ranked.

You start the jetpack, drop a mine, stop the jetpack, and start up another one. Repeat.

Please leave this one alone if you can ('tis hilarious), but I felt I needed to tell you.

Lastly, I think you can fix a glitch that allows you to shoot a weapon even after you fall, by pressing X and A at the same time on a cliff. You will charge your weapon in mid-air, fall, then fire. This could be used for extra suicide damage if an enemy is below you.

A new glitch I found out is that if you select a rope right as you hit the ground after you reach the "falling height", you take no damage until you jump or basically go in the air, but still a glitch.

There is yet another glitch that allows you to stall in the middle of the air and place a girder, basically a girder + teleport in one turn. You have to select a rope, swing, let go and pick a girder, teleport, or airstrike and you will be stuck in the air until you select a weapon, place a girder, or your turn is over.

I am technically a glitch master here.
