After transferring the "Ranked" scheme onto my copy of Worms: Open Warfare, I decided to go one step further and transfer it to Worms Armageddon as well. So here it is.

Major Differences between this and Worms XBLA

No JetPack. In a standard Worms XBLA Ranked game, you don't have any JetPacks at start but you can collect them in crates. Unfortunately WA doesn't allow you to set individual crate likelihoods for the utilities, so I couldn't include the JetPack without also making the other utilities available. As the other utilities aren't in Worms XBLA, it didn't seem right including them just for the sake of the JetPack.
Obviously the weapon behaviour and physics are different in WA, so you can't really use this as practice par sé - if you want to do that, you can just play Worms XBLA offline using the Ranked scheme, or used the Ranked scheme in a standard Player match. To get the proper Worms XBLA experience, buy the game via Xbox Live Arcade on your 360!


Installation Instructions

Download and open the zip file.
Unzip to the "\User\Schemes\" folder in your Worms Armageddon install folder ("c:\Team17\Worms Armageddon" by default").
Choose "XBLA Ranked" as your option-set during game set-up.
Enjoy!

If nothing else, it does make WA players feel superior, so good job Ben2k! :p

But really, the scheme you're using is far less important than the people you're playing it with. Numerous simple schemes used on WA have proven that very well; BnA and Hysteria to name two.

Nope - Worms XBLA Intermediate gives you access to the sheep and the JetPack from the get-go. This is the scheme used if you play a Ranked game online.
