I downloaded the demo last night, and am tempted to buy the full version, but there's one thing that's bugging me that I hope you can answer.

In the old Worms games, I liked the huge maps that required more skill to aim a long range bazooka\grenade to hit your opponent. But the demo only gives you one map, and it seems this new Worms has larger cute worms on a smaller map. Are all the maps this small? I really hope not.

Could someone with the full version let me know if you are able to generate some bigger landscapes when setting up a game?

cheers

I find that in the full game you need to zoom out too see the whole map, and the worms are quite small.

Yes, the maps are not tiny, rest assured.

They may not be tiny, but they are like in the demo.
Perhaps sometimes a little bit bigger or sometimes smaller.

In an old game you had 8 worms, and since the worms are also heavier now, reduced size of the landscape isn't so bad at all...

the levels aren't as large as the maps in worms armageddon (the only other worms game i'm really familiar with) and there isn't much variation to them either. w:a's level generator would build all sorts of wacky levels out of thin air (cave's, multilevel girder structures, cliffs, etc.) while this game seems to just alter the terrain and sprinkle random secondary objects on a few basic level designs. i'm disappointed to say the least, and hope that team17 is able to implement armageddon's level generator at some point in the future.
