Hi, I'm very new to trying the online side of things. I can get into the chatroom style bit where you can see other players and games and can post messages for all to see. However, when i double click to join one of the games i get a message box, containing my IP address, the text "now searching for a worms 2 game...", a cancel button and a Timer counting upwards


This is as close to a game as i can get. Its probably a silly little problem that i'm suffering because i'm new so please help me :confused:

It's highly likely that you tried to join a game whose host hasn't set up his router and/or firewall correctly, denying you to join.
Try and ask someone to host a game who is sure he can.

If you want to host, you have to do exactly the same, set up your router and/or firewall correctly.

if you wish to join and face minimal risk of disconnecting during a game you will also need to port forward and setup your firewall appropriatly.

yes... for worms 2 both the host and client should port forward.
