I'm trying to take screenshots under XP of my Worms Armageddon matches. I am using the "PrintScreen" keyboard key to do this; however, when I go to paste my captured screenshot in mspaint the colors are incorrect. Is there any way to fix this, or is there a better way to take screenshots?

If you are using the beta patches (and if not, why not?) then press the pause/break key on your keyboard. Screenshots will be saved to the /USER/CAPTURE/ folder in youf WA directory.

The pause/break key does not yet work in the menus of the game though.
It will in the next beta.

I think you meant \USER\CAPTURE\

The slash (/) path delimiter is the POSIX standard, and is also understood by more recent Windows versions. Try it for yourself!

Neither did I. I just pressed one of the slash keys and hoped for the best. There was a 50% chance I'd chosen the right one. Lady Luck just isn't on my side today.

Then why do I still have a backslash key? Is it only for showing everyone |-|()\/\/ 1337 | /-\|\/| now?

Yeah... when Microsoft ripped off Unix with MS-DOS, they had to make at least something look different. So, they flipped the path delimiter character over.

Farily off topic, but then so is this whole discussion lol....on US keyboards the position of the backslash is so inconvenient for me (having used the slightly different UK Keyboard layout). Obviously it's not a problem since I don't have any US Keyboards....but Apple in their infinite wisdom don't make proper UK Keyboards (they're just US ones with an added £ key I believe - they still have the weird location of the \ key and they have @ and " the opposite way around to normal UK Keyboards).

My friend has a Mac...and while it's OK for general use, anything like coding requiring lots of keyboard use is ocassionally a nightmare.

Well yes, that means keys you press produce the correct character on the screen - but as I said, it's still difficult because UK keyboards are subtley, but importantly different in a few places, and it's annoying having to learn the US keyboard layout just if you want to use a Mac.

I don't have or want a Mac so it's not a problem for me personally, but there we go.
